Mayor Hedlund Seeks State Review of Compressor Station and Gas Pipeline Projects Facing Weymouth

Weymouth, MA – March 21, 2016 – Mayor Robert L. Hedlund wrote last week to state
environmental officials asking them to require natural gas pipeline companies with construction
plans for Weymouth to file a joint environmental impact report. The report would review the
combined impact of the two projects, which no government regulator has yet to do.
