arrives in a sea of light,
life,
casting colors,
opening eyes,
sending rainbows
dancing across my toes
and smiles
sailing across children's faces,
streaming
salty sweat down my back.
ducks through
the hills,
and into the ocean...
and I sleep
with a promise of its return
