The 2010 Farmer’s Market will feature four village days throughout the season to promote each of our four village centers. One Saturday each month will be designated for a particular village (Colombian Square, Weymouth Landing, Jackson Square and Bicknell Square). During that day space will be set aside for village merchants to display select items for sale or to promote items in their stores.

Call for Farmers: Weymouth Farmers Market

Winter/Spring 2010

As the Mayor of the Town of Weymouth, I am pleased to announce that the 2010 Weymouth Farmers Market will be open for business this June.

The season will start on Saturday, June 26 th and will be open every Saturday through October 23 rd. Hours of operation will be from 9A.M. to 1 P.M. The location of the Farmers Market will be at Weymouth Town Hall parking lot which is located at 75 Middle Street, Weymouth, MA 02189.

We are calling on interested farmers who grow their produce in Massachusetts and New England to contact us if they are interested in participating in the market.

Handmade crafts vendors are also welcome to sign up for our Farmers Market

In addition we are continuing our “Community Table” at the Weymouth Farmers Market for Weymouth residents who are interested in selling their home grown fruits, vegetables or flowers at the market.

In order to participate in the Weymouth Farmers Market vendors must fill out/read the following forms:

  • Weymouth Farmers Market Affidavit/Permit
  • Application to Sell at the Weymouth Farmers Market
  • Farmers Market Inventory List
  • Weymouth Farmers Market Rules

Arrival/Set-up for farmers market vendors: 7:30 A.M. – 8:45 A.M.

Completed by 9 A.M.

Open to the public 9 A.M.

Market closing 1 P.M.

Vendors’ clean up and departure by 1:45 P.M.

Fee Schedule:

Weymouth resident home gardeners-weekly Free

(Proof of residency required)

Vendors (growers/producers) $300.00

Handmade craft vendors $75.00
