 EAST WEYMOUTH STATION
Project Report This is the final report on potential impacts on neighborhood streets proximate to the East Weymouth commuter rail station. The report, including an executive summary and appendices, analyzes vehicular and pedestrian access to the station and recommends actions by the town to provide safe and convenient access to the site and to lessen impacts to the East Weymouth neighborhood. This proactive action is similar to work done by the town prior to the South Weymouth station opening. The actions requested are minor in nature and in some instances only monitoring of station activity is suggested. The town traffic engineer was the principal author of the report and conducted the extensive research and studies. East Weymouth Neighborhood Association members volunteered to meet during the last year to suggest work items and review research results.
