How soon can I get on the Planning Board’s agenda?

There are two kinds of applications heard by the Planning Board:  those necessitating publication of a legal notice for a public hearing and those which do not. If an application is submitted at least 48 business hours in advance and does not require a public hearing, it may be placed on the Planning Board’s next agenda in accordance with the state’s Open Meeting Laws. ANR (Form A) plans should be submitted at least 3-5 business days in advance, and subdivision applications requiring a public hearing are due five weeks in advance. The Board’s meeting schedule and corresponding filing deadlines can be found on the Board’s webpage. However, meeting times and dates are subject to change and should be verified with the Planning Department staff.
