Mayor Kay Announces Groundbreaking for Legion

On Wednesday, June 18th, Mayor Susan M. Kay will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of Legion Memorial Field. Improvements to the historic open space will include a turf field, new tennis courts, multiple play areas, and versatile walking paths to provide enhanced opportunities for both active and passive recreation. The groundbreaking will take place at 4:00pm at the field’s Commercial Street entrance near the tennis courts. All residents are welcome to attend. Click here for the Mayor’s invitation.
