Town of Weymouth Code of Ordinance (partial) Chapter 12 Waterways - PFD 24K

Mooring Information:
Mooring permits - No vessel shall be moored or located within Weymouth waters without a current Weymouth mooring permit. All boat excise taxes and other fees must be paid to receive permit. Send a separate check for the user fee (permit) which is $5.00 per ft. for any vessel in excess of twelve feet (center line) payable to the Town of Weymouth along with your boat excise tax bill. A separate envelope will be supplied for the "user fee" (permit) check. Follow the instructions on the annual boat mooring application for proper mailing. Noncompliance will result in loss of mooring privileges or fines.

Launch Ramp Information:
The launch ramp schedule is posted at Police Station, Town Hall , and the Launch Ramp:

Launch Ramp Shed Hours: (Hours will be posted on the Launch Ramp Shed)
From: Mid-April thru May Open Weekends and Holidays
From Memorial Day Weekend to the end of August Open seven days a week.
From September to October, Open Weekends and Holidays until Columbus Day.

Fees:
Daily Launch - $7.00
Seasonal Rec. Launch - $75.00
One day parking pass - $7.00

Commercial Seasonal Permit - $450.00
Commercial single launch - $75.00
Apply for Season or commercial license at Launch Ramp Office (located across from Lane Beach - River Street)

Beach Parking Sticker:
Purchase Beach Parking Sticker Permit at Launch Ramp Or Police Station M-F 9:00 - 3:00
Seasonal Beach Parking ( Res) ( exp. 12/31) - $20.00
One day parking permit - $7.00
Seasonal Beach parking permit ( Non-Res.) (exp. 12/31) - $50.00
Senior Citizen (Non-Res.) - $15.00
H/P ( Non- Res.) - $15.00
Senior Citizen (Res.) - N/C
H/P ( Res.) - N/C

Please be advised that the beach stickers for George Lane Beach will be enforced from Memorial Day through Columbus Day on an annual basis.

Shellfish Digging Information:
1. No digging due to contamination
2. No license for seaworms or clams
3. Only commercial dig allowed
Need current state license Runs on Calendar year
Commercial license = Resident = $100.00
Non-Resident = $150.00
