As well as butterflies, the collection includes moths, beetles, tarantulas, bees, wasps, grasshoppers, katydids, and cocoons. Mr. Belcher traded butterflies with collectors in Japan, Brazil, India, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Indonesia.
