When can I get my application before the Board?

The Board generally meets every three weeks on Wednesdays with a reduced summer schedule in July and August. Since all applications are public hearings there are strict filing deadlines to go before the Board.

The Board sets the meeting schedule and the corresponding filing deadlines one year in advance. The Board’s current meeting dates and filing deadlines can be found at the Planning Department office or the Board’s website. 

A filing deadline is the last day that you can file for the Board's next meeting. Applicants are strongly encouraged to file early. While we strive to schedule all applications on the date for which they are submitted, depending on the number of applications received, the completeness of the application, and the complexity of the application, an application may be moved to a later meeting.
