How do I become a vendor?
The Weymouth Farmers Market is open to New England farmers, home gardeners, bakeries, and other food vendors, and a limited number of non-food or plant vendors. Download vendor forms here.

Who runs the farmers market?
Market policies are set by a Steering Committee composed of volunteer employees from the Town of Weymouth and Weymouth Food Pantry. Decisions of the Steering Committee are made by group consensus. Day-to-day operations are managed by a Market Manager.
Please Note: The Steering Committee does not constitute a public body under the state’s Open Meeting Law.
Does the market accept SNAP benefits?
Yes! Shoppers can swipe an EBT card in exchange for wooden tokens that act like currency at the market. SNAP shoppers receive DOUBLE their dollars back in wooden tokens, up to an additional $20 per market. SNAP tokens are valued at $2.50 per piece and are exchangeable only for SNAP-eligible food items at the farmers market.
Please Note: SNAP tokens are not redeemable for cash or change. However, tokens never expire, so shoppers can keep what they do not use for more shopping later.
Does the market accept credit or debit cards?
Yes! Shoppers can swipe a credit or debit card in exchange for wooden tokens that act like currency at the market (minimum $20 transaction amount). Credit or debit tokens, also called Market Bucks, are valued at $5.00 per piece and are exchangeable for any food or non-food item at the farmers market. Vendors may provide change for Market Bucks at the point of sale.
Please Note: Market Bucks are non-refundable. However, tokens never expire, so shoppers can keep what they do not use for more shopping later.
What is the Farm to Family Program?
The Farm to Family (Token) Program provides match dollars to families in need for the purchase of SNAP-eligible food at the Weymouth Farmers Market. Families participate in the program by swiping a credit, debit, or EBT card in exchange for wooden tokens that act like currency at market. SNAP and Weymouth Food Pantry shoppers receive DOUBLE their dollars back in wooden tokens, up to an additional $20 per market.
The Farm to Family Program is a cooperative project between the Town of Weymouth and Weymouth Food Pantry.
What is the Healthy Incentives Program?
The Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) is a statewide initiative that matches each SNAP dollar spent on targeted fruits and vegetables at participating farmers' markets farms. An equal amount of money, up to a monthly limit, is instantly credited back to a shopper's SNAP account at the time of purchase. Shoppers can use this extra benefit right away or save it for another shopping trip later. Why does the market run on Sundays?
A Sunday farmers market has operated in Weymouth since 2015. These hours avoid competition with other markets on the South Shore while also sustaining an established base of vendors and shoppers.
