Business Plan
The Emery Reuse Committee was established to advise and assist the Office of the Mayor in the development of a business plan for the sustainable reuse of the Emery House. Committee members were chosen for their experience in a wide range of professions and interests, including architecture, construction, education, preservation, event planning, grant seeking, and marketing.
The committee released its final business plan for the Emery House in May 2017, following a four-month investigation of comparable properties in the region. This plan calls for the preservation and rehabilitation of the Emery House as a not-for-profit events venue and/or cultural center Additionally, the plan offers ideas for the building's management, operation, marketing, and financing.
