Parking Ticket Payments

The Town of Weymouth works with JYB, Deputy Collector, for processing the payments of parking tickets. You may submit payment on the website at www.johnybrady.com, by phone at 1-800-559-9211, by mail to JYB Deputy Collector, P.O. Box 218, Scituate, MA  02066.  If you are unable to pay your ticket online it is most likely because it has not been entered into the online system yet.  Give it at least a couple of days from the day you received the ticket.  Please note that you can also pay your ticket in person at the Collector’s Office located at 75 Middle Street, First Floor, in Weymouth. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Weymouth.

All parking tickets must be paid or appealed within 21 days of issuance. If neither occurs within that time a late fee in the amount of $10.00 for the Town and $5.00 for the Deputy Collector is imposed and an attempt is made to notify the vehicle owner.  After 30 days, any unpaid tickets would be sent a second notice that they have been marked at the Registry of Motor Vehicles and charged an additional $20.00 for RMV fees and $5.00 for the Deputy Collector.

Once the violation has been marked, the owner may not renew his or her driver’s license or vehicle registration until the original fine, late fees, and a $20 Registry of Motor Vehicles fee has been paid (by cash, credit card, or money order only) and a release issued. Payments made after 21 days need to be sent to JYB, at www.johnbrady.com, and cannot be paid at the Town of Weymouth Town Hall.
