The following amendments to the Zoning Ordinance are currently under consideration by the Town Council and/or Planning Board. If the table is empty it means that there are no amendments presently under review. The petitioner is the person or body responsible for bringing forward the zoning amendment.

The following amendments to the Zoning Ordinance have been adopted by the Town Council within the last several years. These amendments are listed in chronological order beginning with the most recent.

1. Add a new Ground Mounted Solar PV Overlay Disctrict to the NAS Zoning and Land Use By-Laws; and
2. Amend the existing NAS zoning map to apply the new overlay disctrict.

Add Section 120-106.3 Solar Energy Facilities to provide reasonable regulations pertaining to the siting of solar installations.

Adopt a moratorium on medical marijuana treatment centers.
Amend the administration, regulation, and flood maps associated with the Floodplain District. 
Create a Village Center Overlay Zoning District (text and map change).
