Community Preservation Committee
The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) administers the Town of Weymouth's Community Preservation Fund and makes recommendations for investments in open space protection, historic preservation, affordable housing, and outdoor recreational facilities.
The CPC has three responsibilities:
- Develop a Community Preservation Plan.
- Review and recommend projects for Community Preservation funding.
- Keep records and prepare an annual Community Preservation budget.
The CPC is a nine-member body consisting of one member of the Conservation Commission, one member of the Planning Board, one member of the Historical Commission, one member of the Weymouth Housing Authority, one member of the Recreation Commission, one member of the Town Council, and three members of the community appointed by the Mayor.
