The Town of Weymouth offers numrous oportunites for passive and active recreation through its network of parks, trails and open spaces from the Back River Trail to King Oak Hill Park. In 2019 the Mayor's Open Space Committee, with the help of Recreation, Conservation and DPW opened up 5 miles of trails through neary 200 acres of land with new parking, trailheads, stream crossings cleared trails. Please enjoy Weymouth's Parks Trails and Open Spaces safely, responsibly and follow all rules and regulations.  Always check for ticks after your walk and be sure to carry out any trash.  Dogs are allowed on all trails EXCEPT the Great Pond Trail.  All Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6ft, and all waste must be picked up and disposed of properly.
