Farmer’s Market seeks local musicians to perform during 2015 season
The Weymouth Farmer’s Market is a weekly invitation for people to gather, catch up and buy fresh local foods for their households and families. To enhance this experience, Market organizers are inviting local musicians to use the Market as a stage for sharing talent. Playing at the Market is a great way for musicians to promote themselves or just perform for friends, family and neighbors.
Musicians are encouraged to contact Market Coordinator Casey Maloney at (781) 340-5012 or click here to send her a message online. Performance dates include most Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm from June 6th to October 24th. Market organizers can offer a shade tent and access to electricity. Each performer is welcome to play for as long as he or she feels comfortable. No professional experience is necessary. The Market is the perfect low risk setting for musicians of all levels to practice playing for a live audience.
