What uses are allowed on my property?

Property uses are based by zoning districts, which are regulated by the Weymouth Zoning Ordinance. To determine what uses are allowed on a property, residents and business owners can use Weymouth's Property Viewer to find the zoning district in which the property is located. Details on what uses are permitted can then be reviewed in the Weymouth Zoning Ordinance. For official determinations of what uses are allowed, residents and business owners can speak with a Town Building Inspector in the Department of Municipal Licenses and Inspections (Building Department). The Building Department is responsible for the interpretation and enforcement of the Weymouth Zoning Ordinance. The Inspector of Buildings, or his designee, is the Town’s official zoning determination official.
