Community Survey - Bridge Street/Bicknell Square Study

In the fall of 2023, Mayor Hedlund announced that the Town of Weymouth was awarded a Housing Choice Grant in the amount of $100,000 to provide funding related to a planning and zoning study for the Bridge Street/Route 3A corridor.

The scope of work for this project includes; a review of previous plans, reports and data, a market assessment, demographic profile, inventory of existing uses and conditions along the corridor including Bicknell Square, as well as looking at transportation from the point of view of safety, access, parking and multi-modal and how route 3A can better function as a neighborhood connector. Also, a zoning analysis will be conducted with recommendations for new zoning.
