Columbian Square Improvement Project Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: December 18 – 22, 2023
Beginning on Monday, December 18, 2023, the Contractor is anticipated to continue working on site lighting and traffic signal underground conduit installation with a smaller crew, as work efforts begin to wind down for the winter months. This work will take place on the west side of Union Street, from Pleasant Street to Camelot Drive. A detour will not be necessary, and two-way vehicular traffic will be maintained throughout the work zone; parking in this area will be limited as work progresses. To reduce impacts, it is encouraged that motorists seek alternate routes and expect brief traffic delays to facilitate efficient work and follow posted detour signage and instructions from the Police Detail Officers. Ambulances and school buses will be given priority access through the work zone.
