Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: August 21 – 25, 2023

Beginning on Monday, August 21, 2023, crews will be working on water service improvements at the intersection of Tower Avenue and Pleasant Street. This portion of work is expected to continue into Tuesday, August 22, 2023 and may potentially require that a detour be implemented for westbound traffic on Pleasant Street to turn right onto Tower Avenue, then left onto Torrey Street and right back onto Pleasant Street. The detour will only be utilized if traffic safety becomes an issue. Wednesday, August 23, 2023 through Thursday, August 24, 2023, water service crews will move to the intersection of Pleasant Street and Torrey Street. Beginning on Friday, August 25, 2023, the same crew will be working at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Blanchard Road. Traffic will be maintained in all directions utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area.

On Monday, August 21, 2023, construction crews will continue with the installation of primary electric conduits at the intersection of Columbian Street, Pleasant Street and Union Street. This work is expected to continue throughout the week. A detour will not be necessary as traffic will be maintained in all directions utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.
