Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: August 7 – 11, 2023

Beginning on Monday, August 7, 2023, construction crews will continue with the installation of primary electric and communication conduits at the intersection of Columbian Street, Pleasant Street and Union Street. This work is anticipated to continue throughout the entire week. During the week, southbound traffic on Columbian Street will be detoured right onto Pleasant Street, left on Chauncy Street, left on Camelot Way and back to Union Street. All other traffic will be maintained in every other direction utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area.

On Monday, August 7, 2023, crews will be working in intersection of Tower Avenue and Pleasant Street to install a new fire hydrant between 141 and 147 Pleasant Street. During the rest of the week, crews will be at the intersection of Union Street and Camelot Way working on water service improvements. This portion of work is not anticipated to require a detour, and traffic will be maintained in every direction utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.
