Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: July 24 – 28, 2023

Beginning on Monday, July 24, 2023, construction crews will continue with water main work at the intersection of Fogg Road and Columbian Street. The work in this area is anticipated to last until Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Traffic will be managed utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023 there will be a temporary disruption of the water service on Fogg Road between the residences of 6 Fogg Road to 44 Fogg Road from approximately 11:00AM until 1:00PM. The South Shore Hospital will not be affected by the water shutdown during this time. While this work is underway, Fogg Road will be closed at the east entrance only. Access to all adjacent parking lots and residences will be accessible from the west entrance of Fogg Road (Route 18).

On Thursday and Friday (7/27-7/28), crews will resume working at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Chauncy Street to install water service lines for future irrigation. While this work is underway, between the hours of 7:00AM-4:00PM, Chauncy Street will be closed at corner of Pleasant Street and access will be provided only from Camelot Way.

The second crew will continue working on primary electrical and conduit installation at the intersection of Columbian Street, Pleasant Street and Union Street. This work is anticipated to continue throughout the entire week. Movement through this intersection will be managed utilizing a two-way traffic management plan; delays are to be expected.
