Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: July 31 – August 4, 2023

Beginning on Monday, July 31, 2023, construction crews will continue with the installation of primary electric and communication conduits at the intersection of Columbian Street, Pleasant Street and Union Street. This work is anticipated to continue throughout the entire week. No detours are expected be implemented and traffic will be maintained in all directions utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area.

On Monday, July 31, 2023, crews will be working at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Union Street in front of CeCe’s Pizza and Catering to install water service lines for future irrigation. No water interruptions are anticipated while this work is underway. Water service work will also be taking place at 134 Pleasant Street (C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home) during the week. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.
