Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: June 19 – 23, 2023

Construction Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 4:00PM

PA Landers has ramped up their efforts for the Columbian Square Improvement Project, increasing the number of construction crews as well as equipment. Crews will be working simultaneously in different areas of the project. One crew will be performing drainage improvements on Pleasant Street and Columbian Street Monday through Friday. Traffic will be managed utilizing a two-way traffic management plan and police detail officers facilitating safe pedestrian and vehicular movements through the work zone.

The second crew will perform water service replacements between 79 and 82 Pleasant Street Monday through Wednesday. There will be a short duration of time (approximately 30 minutes to an hour) where water to the properties will be temporarily interrupted to facilitate the service replacement. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a two-way traffic management plan; however, a detour will be implemented for the replacement of the service line at 82 Pleasant Street. Eastbound traffic will be detoured from Pleasant Street to Central Street, from Central Street to Camelot Way from Camelot Way to Union Street back onto Pleasant Street. Multiple police details and additional signage will be in place to facilitate save pedestrian and vehicular traffic movements through the work zone.

It is anticipated that mid-week, the second crew performing water service work will relocate to Pleasant Street at Wilber Street to install water main. This work will require a detour. Eastbound traffic on Pleasant Street will be detoured to Main Street (Rt. 18) to Columbian Street, back to Pleasant Street. While work is underway, Wilber Street will be restricted to residents. Multiple police details and additional signage will be in place to facilitate save pedestrian and vehicular traffic movements through the work zone.
