Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: October 2 – 6, 2023

Beginning on Monday, October 2, 2023, construction crews will begin working the installation of conduit for the new street lighting. Work will begin at the intersection of Pleasant Street, Columbian Street and Union Street. A detour will not be necessary for this segment of work as traffic will be maintained in all directions utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the area. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.

Monday, October 2, 2023, through Friday, October 6, 2023, crews will continue drainage work on Columbian Street. This will require a detour for northbound traffic on Columbian Street. Traffic will be detoured west on Pleasant Street, then right on Main Street (Route 18), then right onto Columbian Street. Ambulances and school buses will be given priority access through the work zone. Please note, there will be no curbside parking on Columbian Street while this work is underway. Temporary NO PARKING signs will be installed and any vehicles parking in this area will be ticketed and towed. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area.
