Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: September 11 – 15, 2023

Between Monday September 11th and Tuesday, September 12th, construction crews will continue working on water service improvements at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Torrey Street. Torrey Street will be closed to through-traffic while this portion of work is underway. Residential access to Torrey Street will be provided from Park Avenue and Tower Avenue. On Wednesday, September 13th, crews will be starting trench paving and repair work at the intersections of Pleasant Street and Blanchard Street, Tower Avenue and Pleasant Street, and Torrey Street and Pleasant Street. On Thursday and Friday, September 14th and 15th, crews will be moving on to signal conduit installation at the intersection of Pleasant Street, Columbian Street and Union Street. A detour will not be necessary as traffic will be maintained in all directions utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area.

Monday, September 11th through Friday, September 15th, crews will be starting drainage work on Columbian Street between Fogg Road and Pleasant Street. This work will require a detour for northbound traffic on Columbian Street. Traffic will be detoured west on Pleasant Street, then right on Main Street (Route 18), then right onto Columbian Street. While this work is underway, ambulances and school buses will be given priority access through the work zone. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area. Please use caution when traveling in the work zone.
