Weekly Anticipated Construction Schedule: September 18 – 22, 2023

During the week of September 18, 2023, construction crews will continue working on the installation of traffic signal conduits at the intersection of Pleasant Street, Columbian Street and Union Street. A detour will not be necessary as traffic will be maintained in all directions utilizing a two-way traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout this busy area.

Monday, September 18, 2023 through Friday, September 22, 2023, crews will be continuing drainage work on Columbian Street. This work will require a detour for northbound traffic on Columbian Street. Traffic will be detoured west on Pleasant Street, then right on Main Street (Route 18), then right onto Columbian Street. Ambulances and school buses will be given priority access through the work zone. Please note, there will be no curbside parking on Columbian Street while this work is underway. Temporary No Parking signs will be installed and any vehicles parking in this area will be ticketed and towed. Police detail officers will be on site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicle movements throughout the project area. Please use caution when traveling in the work zone.
