Museum Pass Policy

The museum pass program provides discounted admission to area museums and attractions, making it possible for Weymouth Public Libraries’ patrons to discover regional cultural and historical institutions. Each museum sets the amount of the discount and the conditions of use of the pass. Passes may be reserved online, by phone, or in person at any Weymouth library on a first come, first served basis.

  • Only adult library cards in good standing from the Weymouth Public Libraries, and belonging to Weymouth residents, may be used to reserve and check out museum passes.
  • If a reserved pass is not checked out, the patron will be blocked from making additional museum pass reservations for 60 days.
  • If a returnable pass is not returned on time, the borrower will be blocked from making more museum pass reservations for 60 days.
  • If the returnable pass is lost, damaged or not returned, the borrower will be responsible for replacement cost.
