Study Room Policy

The Weymouth Public Libraries provides study rooms for use of individuals and small groups located throughout Tufts Library. Study rooms may be reserved up to one week in advance for no more than 2 hours per day.

Study rooms are not available for commercial use, including private tutoring sessions, non-Library sponsored seminars, workshops and lectures presented by members of private, for-profit law firms, financial advisors, real-estate agencies, health care providers, or others.

The study rooms located in the Children’s Room are meant for use by children.

The study rooms located in the Teen Room are meant for use by teens.

Reservations will be held for fifteen minutes past the reservation time before the entire reservation is canceled, and the room is released to another user. 

Study Rooms shall be vacated 15 minutes prior to Tufts Library’s closing.

All other library policies apply, including but not limited to the Appropriate Library Use Policy and Safe Child Policy
