Digital Media Lab Policy

The Digital Media Lab, located on the second floor of Tufts Library, is intended to serve as both a technology classroom and a space for independent, self-directed work requiring specialty software that is not available on general public computers.

Food and drinks are prohibited in the Digital Media Lab with the exception of water in a covered container.

Patrons may reserve computers in the Digital Media Lab for a 90-minute session per day. If no one is waiting to use a Digital Media Lab computer, users may extend their reservation by 30 minutes. Extensions beyond 30 minutes may be given at the discretion of the reference staff, and may be denied for any reason.

All other Weymouth Public Libraries policies apply, including but not limited to the Public Computer Use Policy, Appropriate Library Use Policy, Safe Child Policy, and Wireless Internet Policy.
