How do I determine whether or not my property is conforming?

Conformity means that a property’s area and use is consistent with Weymouth's zoning regulations. General information on the property requirements for each zoning district can be found on the Weymouth Schedule of District Regulations. For official determinations of conformity, residents and business owners can speak with a Town Building Inspector in the Department of Municipal Licenses and Inspections (Building Department). The Building Department is responsible for the interpretation and enforcement of the Weymouth Zoning Ordinance. The Inspector of Buildings, or his designee, is the Town’s official zoning determination officer.
