Board of Zoning Appeals Case History

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) hears and decides individual cases brought by persons seeking land use relief in the form of special permits, variances, and appeals of the Inspector of Buildings.

The table below provides details on petitions/applications to the Board. The original application and the revised plans will be posted in the description column but please visit the Planning Department office to view any final approved plans. Once the Board has voted, the written decision is prepared, signed, and submitted to the Town Clerk for a 20-day appeal period.

An archive of the cases from January 2000 to September 2014 can be reviewed by clicking here. Prior to 2000, the Building Department staffed the BZA, and it maintains the case records from that time period.
